Does TOD on a deed avoid probate on real estate?

 

TOD (transfer on death) and POD (payable on death) and tools used to avoid probate on bank accounts.  To avoid probate on real estate, use a living trust or an enhanced life estate deed a/k/a a lady bird deed.
