The more it is simple, easy, inexpensive, the less likely it is that the children are going to be arguing among themselves when mom and dad pass away. I've been a lawyer for 40 years. These days, when I hear mom and dad had passed away, I'm assuming there's going to be at least a 50% chance that the kids are going to be arguing among themselves and potentially never speak to each other again.
